These terms govern your use of Kitakits (kitakits.ph), a platform for the Philippine motorcycle riding community. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Kitakits.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old. Give accurate information, keep your login secure, and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account.

What Kitakits is

Kitakits lets riders discover and post events, plan group rides, and RSVP or join them. We are a venue for organizers and riders to find each other. We do not organize, supervise, or insure the events and rides listed on the platform.

Riding at your own risk

Motorcycling carries real risk of injury and death. You are solely responsible for your own safety: obey traffic laws, wear proper protective gear, hold a valid license and registration, ride within your abilities, and don’t ride under the influence. Routes and distances shown on the site are estimates (they are calculated for general road travel, not motorcycles specifically) and may be inaccurate, closed, or unsafe. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Kitakits is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages arising from events or rides found or organized through the platform.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post (events, rides, descriptions, images). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute it as needed to run the service. You confirm you have the right to post it.

Acceptable use

Do not:

• post false, misleading, unlawful, hateful, harassing, or infringing content;
• list events or rides that involve illegal activity, including illegal street racing;
• spam other users or collect their personal data;
• attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service.

Organizers

If you post an event or ride, you are responsible for its accuracy, for any permits or permissions needed, and for how you treat attendees and their personal information. Only use attendee information to run your event.

Moderation and termination

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. You can delete your account at any time from your profile; see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

Messages

We send service emails (like RSVP confirmations). Promotional messages are sent only if you opted in, and you can opt out any time from your profile.

Disclaimers and liability

Kitakits is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that listings are accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us, which is zero for free accounts.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; continuing to use Kitakits after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
